We have a swing my son won't stay in for more than 5 minutes, a bouncer we get about 2 minutes out of and a million other toys that get barely any use. Some of the playmats I looked at were ridiculously expensive and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on another thing he wouldn't use. I decided to give it a try and buy this one for him for Christmas and I'm so glad I did! Not only does he love the toys it came with, but you can add other toys very easily using the little links. The sun that plays the music is adorable and makes him smile. As soon as he lays down, he turns his head toward it to watch and listen to it. This was a great investment!!! This review is from: Playskool Gloworld Music & Lights Baby Playmat (Baby Product) Ok so to be fair I am sure any baby would love anything bright with stuff to play with attached but this one is great. We had one that we purchased at Babies-r-us and our little one was just not that interested in it, so we pulled the trigger on this one and I am very glad that we did. There is a lot to do on this mat, even for little babies that are still learning to roll over there are things on the floor of the mat that crinkle and make noise, additionally there is music that plays and flowers that light up. Then when they roll over there are several very cute interactive stuffed toys that all do different things (one vibrates, one crinkles, etc). Even the mat material is made of super bright/vividly colored cloth. I highly recommend this for anyone with a tiny baby around. It has offered us a lot of nice played time for a very decent price.
