He's a legends class figure, so not realy much to say about it. The head sculpt is cool and the transformation is fun, but he needs painted hands and knee joints. It's a nice figure for smaller kids though and collectors will get a kick out of him as long as they don't overpay. He's a $5 toy, so don't pay more than $12 including shipping and you should be happy with him.

As a Transformers fan that recently picked up the G1 series and loved it, I wanted a G1 Optimus to complete my obsession. Unfortunately, originals and "Masterpiece" reissues command exorbitant prices for lesser funded folks. Now, with this figure, that's not a problem. It is a very good reissue of the G1 Optimus Prime for those who can't afford the original or "Masterpiece" versions. It's as good a G1 Optimus as you can find for 10 bones. Go for it! ROLL OUT!

I ordered this for my grandson's birthday and I have never been so disappointed or embarrassed. The "mini" Transformer was indeed "mini"....no more than 2-3 inches in height. The cost of the figure was $11.48. It could not have weighed more than a few ounces yet the shipping fee was $9.94, for a total cost of $21.42 for something you could buy at Wal-Mart for less than $5.97.
